Our lives are a combination of activism and contemplation. Withdrawal and detachment precede activity. Our Lord’s first words in the Gospel are, “Come and see.” His last words are, “Go into the world and make disciples of all nations.” Too many people “go” and too few “come.” Making a holy hour every day will prepare us for action.
