Throughout history many have claimed to be messengers from God. Their claims must be judged by certain standards. While many religions have similarities, it doesn’t follow that God made them all. Christ came pre-announced as the founder of Christianity. No other founder of a religion was pre-announced. Nor is any founder essential to that religion the way Christ is essential to Christianity, since we enter into a personal relationship with Him.
